A full day of music and entertainment will take place on Sunday, September 11th from 1-10PM at the Huashan Grassland  located at No.27, Linsen N. Rd., Zhongzheng Dist., Taipei City.

The Daniel Pearl Day of Music is an international series of concerts uniting musicians to spread a message of hope, unity and "Harmony for Humanity.

Todd Mack. When his friend and former bandmate Daniel Pearl was  murdered in 2002, Todd hosted a backyard jam that became the inspiration for FODfest (Friends of Danny Festival). He appears with Blues Vibration and a group jam to close the festival.

Passiwali  巴西瓦里 Amis folk-rock musician Chalaw comes from Hualien and his band Passiwali are well known for conveying his pasion and raw emotion.  The band has won over audiences around Taiwan.

Funky Brothers 放客兄弟  Formed in 2008, this 7-person band draws inspiration from the 70s~80s drawing inspiration from disco, blues, acid-jazz, R&B, swing and the funk! And of course, this group puts a Taiwanese spin on these musical styles, creating a sexy fun performance that is definitely the Funky Brothers. 

Skycruiser  Skycruiser exists in homage to Ween and their epic 23-album back-catalogue of sweet and sleazy classics. Skycruiser currently has a handle on 14 Ween classics, and hopes to hit 45 by the end of 2011

David Chen & the Muddy Basin Ramblers  draw their inspiration from blues, jazz, country, and hillybilly swing. Its good time music from the  American south in the 1920s and 30s. Stuff that will really get you off your feet and dancing like a fool 

URS27 and Huashan Grassland 華山大草原. We are proud to be one of the first events to take place at this new park located at  No. 27, Linsen North Road. Along with an incredible sculpture evoking the lanes and alleys of Taipei, the park also has a cafes and art gallery. 

Urban Regeneration Station  (URS27) An urban development concept making use of abandoned properties for art and culture industries, spurring revitaliziong of urban communities. URS27 is newly opened to the public in September. 

High Tide roll with a fresh sound and big hearts, playin old school Jamaican roots music while pushing new ideas with rock steady rhythms ire' melodies, and tight harmonies

Bopomofo ㄅㄆㄇㄈ樂團 is led by Chicago native, DC Rapier, and is a perfect example of the world-wide appeal of the Blues playing he highly-charged, electrified Delta sounds Muddy Water and Chicago-style Blues favorites.

Dark Eyes Gypsy Jazz Band:  This group of students have been lighting up the music scene in Taipei for the past few years, taking a brief hiatus,but specially formed for this year's Daniel Pearl Day. Wonderful music that will make you swoon and fall in love. 

 2 Acres Plowed is Taiwan’s one and only Country Band, performs island wide mixing modern country music with classic rhythms and a blend of classics to keep it real.

Special Guest : Skerrit Bwoy is gonna make sure the party is going off, playing reggaeton beats, swag dancing, and making us all  feel good, a welcome back for 1 member of  Major Lazer.

Taimaica Soundsystem 台買加音效組織  expanded from three members to a full band under the direction of band leader, Anarchy Alan, as the group has wowed festival audiences with a mix of reggae, dub, and punk.

Kou Cho Ching 拷秋勤  Founded in 2003 this Gold Melody award winning hip-hop group has won fans not only in Taiwan but the rest of the world for mixing Taiwanese sounds and language to a beat than can be universally understood and appreciated. 

Pan Africana:  The combination of live drumming synchronized with high-energy dance creates a dynamic show that audiences LOVE. Peace and Love to everyone!
